How does the AI interview training process work?
Launch the app and choose a mode. In Voice or Auto mode, the app picks up audio from your call, transcribes it, and sends it to AI for an instant response. In Transcript mode, it captures both sides of the conversation with live translation. Screen OCR lets you capture text from your screen for AI analysis.
Do I need any special setup or software to get started?
No manual setup needed. Audio capture and OCR engine install automatically. Just paste your OpenAI API key and you're ready to go. The app works with your system audio - no extra cables or drivers required.
Is my personal data secure on your platform?
This is a local, desktop-based application - your information is stored exclusively on your own devices and isn't transmitted anywhere else.

The app works with OpenAI GPT models including GPT-4 and the latest versions. A smart quality slider lets you choose between Economy and Best quality depending on your needs.
Does it work with Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams?
Yes. interviewster captures system audio directly, so it works with any video conferencing app — Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, or any other platform. No plugins or extensions needed.
Can interviewers see the app on my screen?
The app runs as a transparent overlay on your desktop. It is not shared through screen sharing in video calls — conferencing apps only capture the application windows you choose to share, not desktop overlays.
How much does it cost to use?
The app itself is a one-time purchase of €19.99 — no subscription. You also need an OpenAI API key, which you pay for directly to OpenAI based on usage. A typical interview session costs around $0.05–0.30 depending on the model and length.
How fast does it generate answers?
Answers typically appear within 2–5 seconds after the question is detected. The speed depends on the AI model you select — Economy mode is faster, Best quality takes a bit longer but gives more detailed responses.
